May I transfer a computer specific software-licensed product to another computer?

You may need to transfer your software license another computer for a number of reasons, including planned system upgrades, or primary computer failure. To transfer the license you need to follow the steps outlined in the Licensing section of your user's guide. In emergency situations, when MatrikonOPC support may not be available to provide the license transfer immediately, you can still move the software to another computer and have the product fully functional.

To do this, simply reinstall the software and reply 'Yes' when prompted to begin the Evaluation period for the product. This will enable a Fully Functional Temporary Licensing feature found in all Matrikon software-licensed products. This feature typically provides 30 days of continuous operations of the product, with no limitations in functionality.
